The adapter makes the back of the TDI "look" like the back of the engine that the adapter is for.
So if you need a SB Chevy adapter then our adapter and crank spacer will mimic the back of the small block. The bellhousing pattern and crank pattern will be the same as the SB so whatever flywheel of flexplate that would normally bolt to the SB will now bolt to the back of the TDI.
We have been building electric vehicle adapters for 25 years, here is a selection of the patterns we have.

Most of these can be built as TDI adapters.

Very nice, very nice! Now I just need to sell some stuff so I can make my purchases from you!

Awesome work, and thanks for the help.

I look forward to seeing your build finished, and get some driving impressions from you (and mileage numbers).

The finished remote oil filter adapter came in today.
It has the main oil out and return as well as the turbo feed, stock oil pressure sender and a second oil pressure port.

Very, very nice. Will you be selling this one instead of the machined block on your site now?

How is the wiring coming along?

Yup, already updated the site.
Have not started wiring yet as I have been focused on getting my TDI Ranger finished and really hope to start it up today.
Have a few updates on the Jeep and will try to post tomorrow.

Most of these can be built as TDI adapters.
So could you make other adapters?
In particular the GM Atlas I6 4.2L to the Jeep AW4 auto trans?

At this point we are going to concentrate on the TDI and EV adapters.
Its costly to do custom singel unit orders.

I'm getting back to the Jeep TDI swap.
The last month we have been installing a TDI into an 05 Ranger and finally have it running and almost finished.
http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=438039
Today we got the intercooler and plumbing installed on the Jeep.
Not much room for an intercooler so we mounted it behind the bumper and added a fan.
A temp sensor in the intercooler pipes will turn the fan on.
Also added a second electric radiator fan for added cooling.

Nice work here and on the Ranger too... will we be seeing the remote oil filter mount for sale soon too?

I am amazed you have two of these projects going simultaneously, and making such fast progress!

Got a bit done this week.
Swapped the battery tray over to the drivers side to allow for cleaner airbox plumbing.
Managed to slightly modify a Ranger 3L airbox to fit were the Jeep battery was. Looks stock.
We pretty much have all the mechanical stuff finished so now I just need to spend a few days wiring it up.
I have shipped a few adapters already, Jeep 4L, Ranger 3L and a Chevy V8 along with a few of the motor mounts and remote oil filter plates. Thanks!

I was wondering, what size tires are you looking to run on this? Do you plan to also keep the stock 3.07 gears?

Ultimately, how many rpm's do you think you'll be turning at 120kph (75mph)?

Just 31" Duratrac so not too concerned about gear ratio changes.
Once its on the road I can make changes if needed but with the amount of torque that TDI makes I really don't see the need to make any changes.
