Well, I've made a huge change in my plans. I've decided that instead of buying frame stiffeners and plating the **** out of the unibody and hoping it doesn't crack in the front or where the backhalf ties into the unibody rails, I'm just gonna build a full frame. It's will be cheaper to get the rest of the tube that I need to build the frame than to buy front stiffeners and use the mids that I have. I will just use the mids that I have on my dd jeep. It will also be much easier to put crossmembers, motor mounts for a future v8 swap, shock hoops, and and tie a cage into a real frame than a unibody anyhow. Stay tuned I pulled the radiator and header panel today, and I'm gonna try to have the front xmember cut out and the motor grabs and t case out tomorrow and most of the unibody rails cut off by the end of the week.
Well, after letting this thing sitting for months untouched while working on other people's ****, I finally did a little bit to it last night. I pulled the drive train. I'm gonna try to get some more done tonight, I'll update if I get anything done. This build is going slower than I had planned.
One side is off, I'm gonna brace the roof and lay it on its side to chop the bottom part of the unibody rails off after I get the other side of the front portion off, the Sawzall battery's are charging now. I should have the other side off tonight.
Kind of what I'm doing to mine.
Cool build.
By they way got any more pics of the superduty 60? I have 06 superduty axles for mine. I'm trying to figure out how to deal with the small section of tube on the drivers side. I think ill end up cutting some of the cast back to put my lower link mount

I'll take some pics of it and show you. The second pic in the second post shows the drivers side tube where it has the casting notched for a link mount. I'll take some better ones and post them though. I'm gonna run some sort of coilover or strut so I'm not concerned with a coil bucket.
