1st project jeep!!
hey i just bought a 96 cherokee country 4.0L 4x4 ---> what should i strip 1st? and any general advise? after market parts ect... ive never owned a jeep before. thanks everyone --

Looks like a nice Jeep to start with. First thing I would do is diagnose and problems with the engine or transmission. Then, do the basics like changing fluids, plugs, belts, etc. Then drive it like that for a couple days and see if everything is okay. Then you can start on the fun stuff.
Tires, lift, SYE/TCD, armor (skids bumpers etc.), engine mods, etc.
By the way how many miles on that 4.0?

260,000 kms --- started 1st crank not burning oil or anything, needs an alternator - im gonna do all the normal maintenance like you said - whats sye/tcd?
