Default 1998 xj ressurection

Hello all! I'm new to the forum. I have owned a few jeep wranglers, and I've been driving a stock 1994 xj for the past 2 years. I just picked up a 1998 xj sport from craigslist for $700 bones. It has a blown headgasket and some other minor issues, but over all it is very solid. Pictures will follow.

I ripped the interior out to clean it up and to check the floor for rust. It's not too bad for a 13 year old xj from Pennsylvania. I think I'm gonna do the herculiner, then put the carpet back in after I clean it.

As for fixing the headgasket, I'm planning on just swapping my engine out of my 94. It is a low milage Jasper engine, and the floor is completely rotted out of the 94. Does anyone know of any problems with doing this? Any and all help/advice would be appreciated.

I haven't posted on here in a while, but I've been busy all summer working on the Jeep. I got the interior all cleaned up. I changed out the engine. All new brakes etc. and wheels. It's been a slow process, but she is now up and running.
