Looking at my speedometer it looks like it could adapt the trip gauge.

Might just have to do this and call it done for the time being. I would just swap the faces but I’m not sure how to remove the needle and I don’t want to snap it off.

I got my oil pressure sender today and I have the coolant temp sender. Just need to finish up the cluster then we'll see if everything works.

Can’t button it up completely until I get some screws from the parts Jeep and I might clear the dash bezel since all the factory clear is gone.

We're supposed to get 5-8 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow and I'm dying to drive this thing in the snow. Hopefully I can make some progress over winter break...

I just started the Jeep for the first time in probably almost 6 months and it started right up If the tach is correct it’s idling at about 950 but I’ll check with my BlueDriver when I get back

Speedo reads 16 at 9 mph and tach is off by no more than 100. I gotta figure out this idle vibration, but it’s low on the priority list right now

Not sure what to do about the speedo but again low on the priority list. Backed the jeep out of the garage and pulled it in forward so I can attempt rear main seal. Drum brakes need work, I'll try cleaning and adjusting them, hopefully motor and trans mount will fix my vibration at idle, the parts list keeps growing... and the wallet keeps shrinking

I told you you to install the instrument cluster and drive it before putting it back together so that you can verify the speed and adjust as needed.

The Jeep is turned around and floating on jack stands ready for a new rear main seal. Anybody know what these plastic clips are for on the front frame rails? They are on both sides.

They hold on the front splash shield. Lazy owners will remove them and not reinstall them.

Thanks, I had no idea that Cherokees had splash shields, previous owner was definitely lazy...
