Well I have been on here since this past summer when I got my Jeep. I bought a 1993 Jeep Cherokee Country with 165,000 miles. The motor and drive train is all stock and it has a 8.25" in the back and a D30 up front. I bought it with a 3" Rocky Road lift on it and 31" MT/R's. The lift is sagging and i plan to correct it. I am a Junior in college working on electrical engineering degree so money is pretty tight and I try to do most if not all of the work myself. My plan is to take the Jeep on a Road trip to Alaska right after I graduate school as a present to myself. I am open to any advice on everything as i plan to most likely upgrade the drive train some i.e. gears and possibly transfer case before I take off to Alaska. Here are some pics of when i first brought her home.

Here is how she sits now with some interior work done and a custom junkyard brush guard mounted on the front.

Well my aluminum rims were peeling and i didn't want to repaint them and a buddy wanted to redo them for his cherokee so i'm giving him a deal...the rack was pretty simple to make because i made it out of conduit like i found on here

Nice Jeep, Id suggest some lockers for your Alaska trip, and also another vehicle to go with you, thats not a place where you'd want to get stuck.

I just used some self taping screws to attach it all together... and i don't necessarily plan on doing to much hard core wheeling just go and see some sites while im up there. I'm in Indiana so I'm more worried about making it road worthy than anything so I'd like to keep gas mileage in mind along with longevity

Would 4.10 gears be good for the highway if i plan driving mostly on the highway when i'm not on the trails? I plan on having either 32's or 33's when it comes time to replace the tires which will probably be next summer

Well I just finally got some pictures of me and a few buddies when we went and played in the mud after some snow melted around Christmas time.

Man i love breaking stuff

The girlfriend rode along too

Here is my buddy's 2-door 94

I learned to never let my Mexican buddy drive around in the fields. He got stuff after like 2 minutes and it took us almost 30 minutes to pull me out because we didn't have long enough straps with us
