1993 2wd to 4wd build thread
ok so im starting a build thread on my 1993 4d sport thats currently a 2wd but i have plains that call for a 4wd swap along with some lift and other odds and inns this is my first jeep so it seems i picked a good project to start with

k here i added a set of 30x9.5 bfg at's and a set of m/t classics
i made a sweet score towards my conversion i got a dana 30hp front stock and a chrysler 8.25 rear stock as well both auto's and a rough country 4.5 short arm full spring lift

I'm tempted to do this with my '93. Good examples of 4x4s around here go for at least $4-5k, but I can pick up a 4x4 with a bad motor for ~$600-900. Plus my '93 has -no- rust on it.

well the interior of jeep pretty much sucks its either stained or smelled or both so i gutted it
im going to bedline it and i scored a set of country seats from pull-a-part im going to clean up and use as well as a new headliner

thanks dude i yea i would have just sold it and started with a 4x4 but i traded a mercury sable that was left to me for it even so i dont have anything in it

got my bedliner stuff laid down and and some touch up painting

got my seats cleaned up and installed hopefully monday while im off i can repaint all the plastics and get them back in as well
now if i get that nasty interior done i can start on the lift

to convert?
uhh yea i guess it would be alot easier to just buy a 4wd already but i guess im just a glutten for conversions my 5.0 mustang was a 4 banger and i was also in on a soild asxle swap on a oj bronco so its easy but i guess i have fun makeing it something it wasn't

today was a good day as in i didn't get to hammered last that i couldn't be productive today lol and i got some plastics painted up and installed it didn't turn out to bad i dont think

I dunno, that rubberized rhino-liner will probably do a good job of insulating the driver's compartment. I had that stuff on my old Dakota's bed, you could thump the underside of the bed with a hammer and it would only sound like a muffled clunk on the other side.
Might be following in your footsteps here, peppers. Just went and looked at a donor vehicle for mine. 70k less miles, been parked since October. Scary as hell to drive since the frame is rotted out of it and the front end bushings are shot. If I pull the trigger, I'll be swapping it's full drive line into mine (engine, tranny, axles).
