So I had to order a couple more parts for the transmission before I could just drop the engine and everything in should be here in a couple of days I should be ordering my lift kit here soon also we shall see I will put some new picks on today after work

Keep up the good work. What did you use on the interior panels. PO of mine painted them and the stuff scratches (not peels) off.

I'm glad I found your build. Our builds are very similar

My build sheet:
350 small block
Muncie 4 speed trans
205 transfer case
4.5in iron rock lift kit
33in tires
eventually new axles

So it's been awhile but started the project up again pulled the engine out (forgot to put the throw out bearing in) and busted a bolt dropping the engine in so I had to get another one jacked the jeep up and pulled the front tires off to start grinding and welding on the uni body stiffeners that I got a while back then I'll drop the motor back in and start wiring her up

Tacked one side of the unibody stiffeners on today tons of grinding cutting checking then more lol then it started raining hard lol. Thankfully I have tomorrow to work and the next 4 days off will post some pics when I'm done welding fun day forsure

Well it's been a busy couple of days almost done with the unibody stiffeners will be finished first thing in the morning. Then paint and drop the engine in on another note just picked up a 12 gauge shotgun for cheap going to play with that tomorrow also its pretty.

Still not finished but just have to drill a couple holes and I'm good finished the welding and painting part of it tho

Holes are drilled and everything is back together and she is sitting back on all fours engine should be hopefully in by the end of tonight and back to work tomorrow very productive weekend forsure

Ok so engine is in not bolted down but in. I can't wait for the weather to start getting a little cooler. We will see how the work week goes might be this weekend tell I get to work on her again we will see. I'll take some more pics tomorrow when I get home.

wow, I had thought at one point about putting a 350 in a cherokee but A: didn't think it would fit and B: didn't realize that there were companies that made the parts to do it..may have to think about doing this, but with chevy trans and T-case although then i would probably have to axle swap...investigation begins
