1985 xj blue camo
So I decided to make a jeep build thread for my build. I started out buying my XJ for $600, never was off road, ran ok with the 2.8l engine that it had in it. I took it off road and the starter blew and fried the ground and power lines from the battery. Got it home thank god it's a manual. Then the transformation started. This is how she looked when i bought her (after I got her home).

Future plans:
Engine swap chevy sb 350
6.5" lift (iron rock)
33" tires for now
Dana 44 front and back to come
CB cobra radio
Paint job
And a bunch more that I can't think of right now

Oh yeah front and rear bumper they both were smashed in when I bought it. The front passenger finder was also. So I went to pick n pull and picked up a front fender grill and an extra par of lights. Built the front bumper had it sand blasted and powder coated also lol

Well thanks maybe I will don't know not high on the priority list right now. Alright to keep this thing going now that I'm off lol. I bought a chevy blazer k5 with a sb 350 chevy in it was a score for me because it already had 33" tires on it lol got it for $400 and then started parting it out any ways that's another story but already made my money back and pick n pull will come pick it up for another $180 so now I'm making money and have the engine and tires that I want. Then I put the camo on the jeep here is some more pics of after the camo.

Then last night I painted the bumpers so they would match the jeep that about it for now will be buying the engine mounts and adaptor plate from the engine to the trany here in the month then everything will be coming together. Also all the paint job was spray paint because I will be getting scratched up by sage brush and rocks and trees so it will be easy to touch up when it happens. Also I will be using the ax15 transmission and the np 231 transfer case. And will also be getting uni body stiffeners for the body because of the power of the 350. That's it for now will keep you guys posted and what problems may a-rise that I will have to over come.

Yeah I will be soon it either been to hot or raining here lately so might wait tell this weekend to through a clear coat down going to pull a center council out of a 97 plus Cherokee so I can get cup holders out of it lol. Been thinking about putting extra switches in the ash tray in the front for the fan and lights and others along the way also
