Alright so I got the second coat on there it was a thick one didn't have enough to do a third coat so I just piled it on with the second. I also started painting my plastic interior pieces blue to match the outside this weekend is half off at the pick n pulls around me so I will be picking up the transmission and transfer case at the JY I can't wait

I went to the local pick n pull this past weekend looking for the transmission and transfer case that I wanted with no luck start posting on craigs list and looking around in the local jeep clubs for one

So the wife went to the fabric store today and they have the same blue camo their as I have on the jeep so everything will match inside and out lol

damn murry i like that paint job. did you cut out shapes in cardboard, it looks like you have some simpler patters there. i was gonna do the same thing with blue cammo cause i am tired of all the paint and clear coat pealing.

Yep you caught me lol cardboard cut outs lol made the shapes my self and thanks guys I can't wait until she is up and running again I've been working so much overtime she should get some more attention here soon

i would love to hit the trails with, but nevada is way to far away. now did you prime and base (blue paint) with a spray can or gun? also after you were all done with the paint did you seal it so it would not flake? also i am interested in what shapes you made, and if you did it again would you free hand it?

I wet sanded the whole jeep then washed it then I did the base coat of blue with a spray can and yes I sealed it with a clear coat. I think I will do one more before I take her out on the trails. I just cut out shapes what ever came to mind lol I didn't want to tape off every shape so that's why I did the cardboard. I did the spray paint because it was a cheap paint job that I can touch up when ever I wanted to with all the pin striping I will get around here.

painted almost all my plastic interior trim and then it started raining so I hope I can finish tomorrow or later on tonight I will just have to put it in the back of the truck to dry lol

I came home to my lights sitting out side (clear marking lights and turning signal lights) I can't wait tell I can put them on it will have to wait I've been working 12hr days and we are going camping this weekend I will get pics up soon when I get everything together

I finished painting all the plastic trim pieces on the interior should be able to put most of them in tomorrow I haven't spent to much time on it 12hr days are killing me right now good for the jeep
