damn murry i like that paint job. did you cut out shapes in cardboard, it looks like you have some simpler patters there. i was gonna do the same thing with blue cammo cause i am tired of all the paint and clear coat pealing.
Yep you caught me lol cardboard cut outs lol made the shapes my self and thanks guys I can't wait until she is up and running again I've been working so much overtime she should get some more attention here soon

i would love to hit the trails with, but nevada is way to far away. now did you prime and base (blue paint) with a spray can or gun? also after you were all done with the paint did you seal it so it would not flake? also i am interested in what shapes you made, and if you did it again would you free hand it?

I wet sanded the whole jeep then washed it then I did the base coat of blue with a spray can and yes I sealed it with a clear coat. I think I will do one more before I take her out on the trails. I just cut out shapes what ever came to mind lol I didn't want to tape off every shape so that's why I did the cardboard. I did the spray paint because it was a cheap paint job that I can touch up when ever I wanted to with all the pin striping I will get around here.Originally Posted by trans_am7935
