Be careful! A free flowing exhaust just means more fuel consumption dude. Keep it stock I swear that's the way to go! Don't touch your intake either. More air coming in means your xj will allow more fuel to mix the proper ratio. All this does is make more power but not better fuel mileage.

I usually pull 20+ on my way up to my dad's house if there's little to no wind. It's flat with not a whole lot for towns that I have to slow down in. That and I drive 55.

Those u joints are a PITA to get out... they're usually rusted to **** and the snap rings don't wanna come out. I took mine to napa cause I got so fed up. If you go that route, there's a guy, Dave at the lyons napa. He does good work, even reshaped my yolks for 45 a shaft. Its on ogden and rose if your curious.
And weld the muffler on. No bs clamps... you'll loose it if you plan on doing any wheeling

Well now yesturday i did the rear driveshaft u joint going to the diff. Ended up snapping a bolt in the differential. Drilled it out, then my brother snapped a ez out inside. Now im about to take out the yok going to the differential and use a drill press to hopefully get it out. If not, off to the junk yard i go.

Sounds like you've met the "rust belt" on the jeeps lol. This isn't gonna be a last occurance for ya unfotunately. When you finish this, and if I ever finish mine, we should go wheeling. I'm in the orland area and have a couple buddys around here. One with a Limited ed. ZJ, and the other has a massive wrangler.
