I like the badlands winch. I got the exact same one. I fabbed up my bumper so I can fit the factory trim around it then I mounted my lights on the bumper. Did you get the metal or plastic HF lights? If its the metal ones you have to watch the rust. Im 16 with an XJ too, corse yall are probably 17 or 18 by now. Im in Ohio so we got A LOT of snow and salt this winter. Make sure you got a winch cover or that thing will rot quick. I saw a winch the other day that was nearly falling off a guys jeep.

Their actually kc lights. And I painted them black so they wouldnt rust. And thank god winter is almost over. No money for a winch cover. Im gonna make one soon.

I know we have had a **** winter here in Ohio. I just got my winch on a couple weeks ago and we have had some nicer weather lately so not too much salt has gotten on my winch. If anything happens I ll just take it back to HF and get another one.
