Posting this to show the finished custom molded center section around the radio.
I still need to order the correct paint to match. The first go-a-round didn't match well.

Windrock!
Loaded up the Jeep on the trailer Saturday morning and checked the tires to find out one of the hubs was worn out, so I unloaded the jeep and just drove it to Windrock instead. The drive was great. Brisk morning with cruise all the way up 27.
A friend drove over from Texas in his JLU Rubicon on 37s.
Got there about 8AM and headed up 2 towards 16. Stopped at the waterfall and hung out for a bit.

The leaves were BEAUTIFUL!

The only real obstacle on 16 was dug out a little more than it was last time we ran this trail, but it wasn't a problem.
Stopped after for some lunch.

Went over to trail 51 headed to panther rock for some sight seeing and pictures on the rock.

Headed out to see some more trails, but we were far from the entrance and we wanted to see what one of the harder trails looked like, so we hit G1 and headed back.

Decided not to do a couple of the harder trails, because we all had to drive home, so we hit up the BBQ place and car wash.

Was a great trip. No-one had any issues and the weather was great!
Second time I have been to Windrock and not hit any of the harder trails. Hoping to remedy that next time.

Went to Adventure Offroad Park with Georgia Trail Riders on Saturday.
Didn't get to wheel long though. My son wasn't felling well at all. He didn't even want to get out of the jeep when we were stopped, so I left after one trail.
Couple of pics.

Haven't done anything with the jeep since that wheeling trip. It feels weird to not have anything going on with it.
I still have to take the visors to get covered and order the correct color for the center dash piece.
Need to fix a rear main seal leak.
Looking to pick up a louvered panel for it on Black Friday.

Been in the woods a lot lately. AOP, Aetna a few times, exploring on Cagle Mountain. The XJ is just chugging along.
I get under it after every trip looking and making sure everything is where it should be. I've changed the oil and topped off the transmission fluid. The A/C compressor is cycling more than it should be, so I need to look into that. I have an oil leak and a tranny leak, but it only leaks when I get home. lol
I don't remember the dates of these trips, but they all were in the last couple of months.
Got invited to Aetna AMA lease, so I took advantage of that. Here are some pics going up a creek bed. Did some stuff that I didn't think it would do. Impressed me.

Found some really cool spots and roads on Cagle mountain.

Grabbed the kids and took them to Aetna last weekend. Another friend was wanting to shake down his Toyota build. The kids had a great time. We stopped a lot and let them play.

Ordered some Hyline louvred hood panels and had a friend throw some hydrographics on them. Hoping to get the underhood temperatures down a little.

The design is a little busy, but it looks cool when you get up on it.

Grabbed some friends and went to Windrock Sunday.
Did some easy trails, because one of the guys has a 19 ZR2 Colorado that he didn't want to damage too bad.
Took them to see the train and the Windmills. It was a good day.
Also, a pre-wheel inspection netted me a bad UJoint at the rear end. Swapping it out in the garage is much better than on a trail.

Haven't been on here much, but I've still been wheeling and doing little things here and there to the Cherokee.
Here's a photo dump.
Windrock Park

Random powerline exploring one day

Alcan Spring install

Rear Quarter guards finally

Big Fork area

Helping clear Cumberland Trail access

Testing flex and measuring for limit straps

Thor Cowl intake

More exploring

Currently working on an Aluminum rear shelf for storage.
