Wilmington, Myrtle Beach area Jeepers help!
I haven't posted to the local communities before but I wanted to put the feelers out for those with the skills for DIY electrical work. I have a custom job I want to do to replace my mechanical and electric fans. I found some posts where other Jeepers have used a Taurus fan or Audi A6 dual fan set up to get better cooling.
I'm illiterate when it comes to electrical stuff. I'm not sure what relays to buy, do I need a resistor for a dual speed set up, where to get the right wiring (gauge)?
I'd travel within southeast NC, northeast SC area to your location to get the help/advice I need. I'm tight on money but could pay a feasible amount if necessary.

Hey man. All depends on what route you want to go with it. I put extra electric fans on my '96. But I didn't use relays or anything special. I have them on a toggle switch on the dash. I put inline fuses in the wiring. Pretty simple.... But if you want them wired to relays then that's alittle different. I live in Southport and if you are up this way give me a shout and Ill help as much as I can....

I just bought a slim fan off Summit Racing to replace my mechanical fan. Pretty sure it's 14 inches. Now I have a switch for the condenser fan and a switch for the 14" fan from Summit. I rarely need to turn both of them on.
