I live in the northern part of Virginia, in a town called Warrenton. Its about and hour and forty-five minutes away from Richmond, and about an hour from Washington DC.

Awesome I have a few relatives in warrenton. I live in weyers cave which is about 45 minutes north of charlottesville and between staunton and harrisonburg. The only thing that we have around here is the george washington national forest. Its an area that is mild stuff that you can do with a stock jeep. But during hunting season there are some better trails that are open. Here is a link to another thread about this. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f42/va-trails-holes-3278/

Hey QuiXJ, do you have any more information about this trail like who owns the land, do you have to ask to use it? Thanks.

Where you located at in Weyers Cave? I live in Mt. Sidney on Mt. Pisgah road. Not to far from Fort Defiance High School.

I did!
I've been on at least 12 different trails in the GWNF. Some are temporarily closed and some perminantly closed.
There are also many more trails I have not explored in the GWNF.
Rapidan WMA, North and South sections.
Logging trails in Beaverdam Va.
Of course there are the Big Dogs events at the Cove.
Chris Packard's place in Crozet, Va.
And that's just Virginia.

Oh, I thought you meant in Warrenton. The last trail I was on closed and it was pretty good it was in Green Ridge, MD. Hopefully they reopen it sometime.
