Are they planning on opening the Conway trail back up? I live like 30mins away from there.

I seriously doubt it. The original trail has long since been gone, and what ppl used to wheel on was actually private and wild life preserve land. It has been closed for at least 4-5yrs now.

Just went back to the Conway trail in Madison. There is a trail on the right 1st or 2nd one you come up to going in and was just wondering if anybody had gone down the whole thing? It started to go down a steep hill after a climb and then looked like it got a little tight and off camber(Just me and a buddy 1 truck) backed out of the trail didnt want to get stuck. Just wondering if anybody went through this trail before?

Found a nice trail off Oceana in Virginia Beach. Not long, but a decent mix of sand, mud, and hills. It's a pretty tight trail, but fun if you want to do a quick run to get the XJ a little dirty. There is a HUGE mud pit as well, but without at least 33's and good amount of speed, you're not getting through. Just got done pulling my buddy's Durango out. He's got 34's, but he doesn't have much experience.

I've been down oceana many times I've never seen just a trail between some trees
any landmarks or cross streets that I should look for next time I go down that way?

i recommend a come-along, thats how the bronco got out of the hole down that hill. the other mud pit near the awsome hill climbs has like a big tree in it now i got stuck in it and winched out, along with a 4 runner. the hill climbs are really fun to flex on and you dont have to get stuck.

My friend has some land over here that is legal in virginia beach too, if you just pm me we can wheel on his land, its not too big but its fun.

I'd definitely be interested in checking out that land.

We've got a meet in Hampton at 2pm today. Office Depot on mercury by the coliseum.

I've been going along the sewer pipe line off court house road, its not marked and is fun good for beginners and stocks. Been back there a few times with my cousin and friend which both have 2011 Jeep Wranglers.
