Well I'm planning on heading down to Uwharrie the weekend of the 20th. I know a few other guys are planning on going but I would like to see who else would possibly go. I know it's well in advance but, if anyone is like me, everything has to be planned way ahead to fit in my schedule.

I'll be heading out there early that Saturday, camping on the trails, and leaving Sunday afternoon/evening.

 

If I can get the xj running again I will be there.

Would love to make it but I highly doubt my XJ will be in any way shape or form ready to make any sort of trip out there then. Ive got piles of parts in the garage and no time to work on it.

No but I need my steering, brakes and suspension to be done, which it probably wont be. Damn thing is sitting on jackstands in my garage with both axles out of it right now. and half the engine bay torn apart.

Trust me Im grinding away on the jeep as fast as I can trying to get it ready for the trip. The whole MIG gun ordeal set me back a day or two. New gun should be here on Thursday though. I still need the new trackbar aswell. So long as the trackbar gets here and I can finish up a few things I should be able to make it out.

TheMayer may also come, and Drew said he was gonna bring his WJ down. They're in Winston.

Also I'll be heading down on the 19th at some point, there is no service at the Eldorado Outpost or anywhere in URE except a couple of places, found that out the hard way last time. We can decide on a CB channel that we can all be on, that's bar none the best way to communicate out there.

If anyone else wants to head down on the 19th let me know via PM and we can all decide a time and place to meet. I'll probably leave my place (2 hours away) around 6, and may stop in Charlotte on the way down. Anywhere between here and there I can meet people.

 

Hopefully you will make it at least in the Yota, but if the XJ is ready, we're running Daniel
