I work monday 'til 5, then i'm hoping to be sanding it down. It all depends on if i get paid for a side job. If i do, i'll be painting the body desert tan. If not, i'll just be doing the lower quarters in a nicer black, suspension bits in silver, and flares in black. I get off around noon on tuesday.

Hey, I just recently got a Cherokee after not having a Jeep for 6 years and I'm hoping to find either a club or group or even individuals who wouldn't mind kind of letting me ask a few questions and who would be able to give me a general idea as to what I'm in for. Also just to chill and talk about Jeeps and show me your nasty mods while I get jealous 'cause mine is stock all the way.
I'm also newly returning to this area so meeting new people is whats up.

Welcome! What part of Tidewater are you in? If you're in the South side (VaBch, Norfolk, Chesepeake, Suffolk), HRJC.org is a great club to hook up with. If you're ont eh Hampton side of the tunnel check out MPJAI.

Matt (no rdplz) and I are in Hrjc. Its pretty much the biggest jeep only club on the southside. We have had something like 80 people at the last two monthly meetings. We've been growing in numbers of xjs too.
You know its been a while since we've done a cf meetup around here to just hang out. We should try and do that again. Maybe one Saturday evening?

I'm good for either. Heck, we just got new patio furniture. Those plus the fold out chairs i have we could do a little bbq at my place if there aren't too many interested. Maybe do a potluck deal. Otherwise we could go wherever if that's a no go.

Hey, thanks for the welcome.
I'm on the south side, Suffolk, but I grew up in VB.
I'll definitely check out HRJC.org. Is it cool that my Jeep is stock right now? I want to lift it eventually but there is allot of other stuff I need to take care of on the preventative maintenance side of things first.
