I guess i need to snap some pics of mine but matts has better clearance than mine....now im looking to go buy some steel for a rear bumper build, with tire carrier
Are you guys members with hrjc any recommendations on clubs...i live in Newport News and would prefer not to travel across the water at 10mpg with gas prices the way they are

no rdplz and i are part of HRJC. It's a great group of people. But since you're on the peninsula you may want check out MPJA or something like that. Middle Peninsula Jeep Association. Something along those lines. Supposed to be a good group of people.

I am in mpjai their coffee runs are at dunkin doughnuts on Jefferson just south of denbeigh blvd every Sat at 10 I know next Sat they will ne meeting there early to head down to starr motors for the annual va4wd meeting and wheeling

Thanks on the bumper that's what I was going for simple easy and none winch. Never had one also I did add a stinger layer on. Not sure if the pics are there or not but it would be at the end.

Yeah I gotcha. The sliders i was just gonna do some 2x6 square with some 2x2 square on the outside as a sort of step-up bar for the wife.
Rear bumper i was just gonna buy some plate and modify the tire carrier I have into a bumper. Roof rack is gonna be 1x1 square. Nothing major, all real simple.

that's what I'm hoping to avoid. trying to keep it on the cheap side if I can. Tuesday is supposed to be sunny and 57* - perfect painting weather. Gonna prep on Sunday and Monday, paint tuesday, touch up thursday. Taking 1/2 day off tuesday to do it.
