I know some guys here in my area and I are planning another run here soon (God forbid it snows) up to ShoeCreek. I'll post it up with plenty of time for some to hopefully plan and meet us to run the trail!

I prefer a trail I don't have to "sneak" into.

You are correct. The trails are still closed and will be from here on out. The city of Harrisonburg shut down a big part of the trails due to trash, erosion and polluting the city's water. We don't look for any of the trails to open for a long time if ever. It's a shame because there were some good trials to run. There are still a few left, Second Mountain and Switzer Dam which are both off 33 West. They are nothing extreme, but nice trail rides..I try to go at least once a month.

Where is shoe creek? Last weekend I was on the second mnt trail. Most of the trails are for atv but it sure is nice.
