I feel the same way. There are a couple of guys who were wanting (and actually planned this) that are now backing out. Pu*****. I know as far as right now I think we will have at least 4 in our group. Hopefully.

Trails always open. Everyone backed out last minute. (For me.)

I was wanting to meet up with bassackwards but couldn't find anyone to go.

Hopefully the next planned trip will go smoother.

LOL! Sorry about that. You must have called when my cell decided to crap out on me. I had to take it back to Sprint and get a new one. Somehow the software burned up. They replaced it and now I'm good to go!


Hopefully we can get up there sometime after the first of the year! It would be nice.

 

Is there enough room if I wanted to haul my XJ up to park truck and trailer? Just curious. Thanks.

 

If you come through on the backside and run down the mountain. There is a parking lot at the end of the trail. It's the parking lot for people wanting to hike to Crabtree Falls. We don't usually run that way, we normally run going up the mountain. There is no parking available due to it's just houses on a road (private property) and the trail starts at a dead end.

Depending on where you are coming from there is plenty of room at my place for truck and trailer to drop. My house is about 30-40 mins from the trail head.

Is your Cherokee Streetable? (tags, inspection, insurance) Needs to be to run Shoe Creek, as it's a state park.

 

Yea she's is street legal. Just wanted to know in case I brake something. Bad things seem to follow me no matter how simple the trail. Thanks for the offer..I may take you up on it in the near future..

 

No problem! Hope you do take me up on it sometime! We run that trail pretty regularly. I hear ya on the luck thing, I have a friend like that. LOL!
