Myrtle Beach SC area
Anyone on here from the Myrtle Beach area? I just bought my jeep about 2 months ago, and I have been looking for some good places to go. My buddy (has a 96 XJ), and I only know of one good spot locally to go.

Yeah definetly. I went yesterday and had a pretty good time. Im looking for some tires right now. The 205 don't cut it. It looks like a station wagon with them on. Had some 31"s and they were great. A buddy of mine has a set of 31 super swampers for sale for $100. They have like 30% tread left. They would be really nice. Let me know if you want to get together some time.

IF you are wheeling powerlines SC just passed a new law that will get you ticketed. The only legal public place that I know of to wheel in SC is Gulches. Uwharrie is not too far up in NC and much bigger. If you are wheeling on private land with permission of the land owner then that is a different story.

Yea I'm from the Myrtle beach area as well, cumo000 is my neighbor...we don't wheel any power lines (or haven't yet at least). Thanks forth heads up though man we will keep that in mind. Any of you guys ever been to carolinabackwoods off road park/campsite? Cumo and I have been wanting to check that out bc we live near it but have not found the time yet. There's a place at the end of forest brook behind a concrete pumping company that we have visited a few times.
Here are a few pics from around the lake out there...it gets nastyyyyy
