Yesterday I hit the pier at OIB and it was decent size but washey. I wanted to hit OI again but heard it was shut down unless you lived there... Any Damage? I'm working there again next week on Dolphin St.

No serious damage as far as I know. Basically, just wind damage so a lot of limbs and leaves everywhere.
The better waves came in sets, but a lot of them were blowouts. lol. some kids got pictures of waves as tall as the pier, they were the exciting ones to watch, haha.

wife and i evacuated to western sc, had to leave the jeep behind, hopefully its still there. might be heading back tomorrow depending on road conditions. also i talked with sneekepete and usmclovesxj and they are ok, no injuries or know damage to the jeeps.
that good about sneekepete and usmclovesxj. i knew they were gonna ride it out. glad everybody's still here.

I am glad to see as many good reports as there are. I know that there has to be a lot of folks hurting along the coasts of NC & VA. Never in my life have I seen a hurricane park it’s self off of a coast like it did. Has anyone heard about any members here organizing volunteer groups to head to the coast? I can probably squeeze a few more days of hard labor out of this ragged ole body of mine.

Not too bad here, just a section of fence and our gate need replaced. Just waiting for the concrete to finish setting before I hang the fence paneling. Lots of others though have much more damage, so I'm incredibly thankful.
