I go every year and rent a beach house in carova for a week. I love it down there. Now im from up near Fredericksburg VA. In a little town called Bowling Green. So if I were to go id have to make a whole weekend out of it being since its a little bit of a drive for me. Would you any body be up for making a whole weekend of it? Would have to get a hotel down closer to obx and just drive up north12 to carova. But I am interested.

Zoom in on my back glass. North12 rocks!

Make it a surf fishing trip. I'm headed up that way in a couple of months for some fishing.

i like the surf camping fishing trip, but can you camp anywhere down there in carova? that sounds like it would be alot of fun, i go surfing all year round and have only surfed up there once. we should plan to go later in the year then.

Never been to Carova or the Outer Banks, but a surf fishing camping / wheeling trip sounds like a fun busy weekend

The outer banks is the beach that runs the beginning of north carolina as soon as you cross over from virginia. And carova is the very beginning of it. Its a long fenced in portion of beach that you can drive on and there wild horses too. So beware of them. You get in alot of trouble if you mess with the wild horses cops do patrol the beach. You can drive all the way back north up the beach and meet were the north carolina/ virginia border is but there's a fence on the beach blocking you from entering virginia. Alot of dunes and trailes to play on even some water holes last time I was there. All and all its alot of fun.

Nope, never been. Sad thing is I have been living in VA Beach for 3 years now. About 35 minutes from the NC border. Always wanted to visit Kitty Hawk but work, family and cars always got the attention.
