this needs to be in the wanted section - not a meet thread. Not trying to be a jerk, but stick to the thread topic. If you want to post this in the mid atlantic section, just create a new thread instead of jacking one.

I'm still down. hopefully. Doing a front axle swap this sunday and need to get my e-brake fixed, bumper finished, and I may have to drive down with my front driveshaft out cause its squeaking like hell from the double cardan.

new u-joints will fix it. Just did it to mine.

all right everyone, one week left. if you're going, sign up for a food item and let either me or MT Parker know what you're bringing and how many people are coming with you. Check the list MTParker made in the thread to see what's being done already.

Unless my Jeep blows up between now and then I am still in, still doing the bbq, soda and plasticware stuff. Tenative on the table. I still have to find out if I can get one from work.

I have most of the work done to the jeep that I wanted to do. Although more crap broke too. ugh.

I might need dragged back but hopefully not lol.

the u-joints are in great condition, I pulled the shaft today. the squeaking is coming from the centering mechanism in the middle of the double cardan.

now that I think about it. My gf has a small folding table we can use.

I got my front axle swapped today, need to tie up a few loose ends and its set.

EDIT: I am for sure in. I may not get the driveshaft fixed in time so I'll just drive down with it out, put it on before we hit the beach and then do the reverse for the trip home. Good news is that I got my axle swapped today so I just have little **** to get wrapped up to be ready for the trip.

Gotcha. I got back from camping Saturday night and discovered my front pinion seal is leaking. That pinion nut is gonna be a pain in the butt to remove!

Got my recovery strap, D-ring, and clutch fan on the way. Hopefully it will be here in time. lol.

Finally bought a hitch last night.

Today I have to go back to home depot and get some washers. I have the front tow hooks and everything installed but I don't like how the bolts/nuts just barely cover the bolt holes. So that is my project for today.
