I know it's a ways out, but anyone up for an Outer Banks meet? I'm thinking Oregon Inlet and do a beach run. Could possibly swing by Anderson's place there in Poplar Branch as well.

Had a good time up in Newport News meeting some of the MPJAI guys couple weeks ago. Thought I'd throw something out a little different this time.

 

Heck I have a hard enough time planning tommorow.. I couldnt imagine trying to plan something a month out

Alright, looking at the calendar and looks like this is gonna be the best in August:

August 28th
Oregon Inlet/Dave Anderson's Shop meet
Meet up in Virginia Beach at the Home Depot on Nimmo around 9am-ish
Head down to Anderson's place, getting there around 11 most likely.
Spend some time there 'til we wanna leave.
Continue down to Oregon Inlet and do lunch and a beach run.
Shoot the breeze and head back whenever we're ready.

 

If im not working, and dont have any important classes that day I probably would be down for it.

 

the only grief i have is the meeting location where is that? what about some place closer to 168 for us guys/gals in the pennisula? also what route do you all take down there? the toll road or not that way we know if we need to bring toll moneys. what else does anyone plan to bring, we could make this a pot luck. but i am down for sure but will know better when its closer until then count me in. i know i may be asking these questions early but still need to bring them up.

 

not taking the toll road. We can meet up wherever, not a biggie to me. I'm all for a potluck type thing. Got a buddy that wants to go, but he can't go on the 28th. Is there anything against the 14th? He could make the 28th, but the 14th works better for him. Whatever works for everyone on here is what I'll tell him.

 

hmm the 14th is going to be tough for me. you see girls gone wild is coming to elizabeth city with 2 camera crews and i have a ticket. thats on the 13th. but hey i can work something out, like less drinking maybe leave soon enough to drive back up to hampton and then head back down to meet up and go to the beach.

 

Looks like you guys will be around my neck of the woods if you make it down here. Not sure if Ill actually be able to hang out with ya or not it all depends on work (as most people's case) Either way it would be awesome seeing some nice xj's around the area.
