i know of that area in forked river, there is also a huge mud pit there and some trails and hills. i have only been back there a few times and always in a group. every turn every road looks exactly the same and i would never be able to find it alone. also i liked wheelin forked river mountain.. well more like big hill lol
i would like to go back there if there was ever a group ride

Just be very weary of where you go. There is a lot of heat on Wharton right now. Stay on the main roads if you are going to be headed down there and don't stray from them.

All of the pits in the pine barrens / south jersey are all off limits. Playing in them is like playing Russian Roulette with game wardens and authorities. I have almost been arrested at one of those above mentioned pits for just passing through.

Your best bet is to find some private property and ask an owners permission before playing or head up to Rausch Creek where its a wheelers paradise.

Like he said most areas you see on YouTube and forums are off limits and fines have doubled in these places.

Lol you are allowed to go threw puddles that are on main roads. When I asked the ranger he said its legal to do so just no "romping". Or of course climbing mt jemmina. Trails that lead into 1/4 mile and wheeling 1/4mile. You show respect they'll do the same.

Just one of the many videos on our areas and why there is so much heat.

http://www.whyy.org/hamiltoncommons/...pinelands.html

Eventually, everything is going to be off limits. it IS Jersey after all.

You think they would turn a sand quarry into a ohv park. But they don't want to put the time and resources into it. Even tho it would probably gross over the amount put in it. A group of us on jeep forum are trying to lease land but haven't really been updated for about 2 months....
