I'm new to the site, and between this site and JeepForums.com having DC area split in two different areas is sooo dumb. Not sure what idiot decided that...but I think I want to see if most folks are like me and feel Maryland and DC should be in the Mid-Atlantic section like EVERY OTHER site out there!

Sorry...I kinda thought it wasn't a big deal here to be a little harsh. See it done a lot in other threads. I can be very much the idiot too! Perhaps a winking eye smiley or something I should have put next to it.

I know it's hard work, and the site it good. Certainly going with vBulletin was the right way to go. It is the superior platform.

Nah...there is some hard work that does go behind these forums. It depends on the depth. I know from the tons of forums I've been on there is certainly degrees of participation. Much of it is behind the scenes, and much of depends on where and how it is hosted (server service).

Votes still slowly coming in. But could always use more. Not sure when I'll approach managment (admins.) about the change (if the votes continue this way), but looking good so far.

I think it is almost time to approach the management and demand the change. I think we'd all benefit overall and seems to be pretty one sided. 26 to zero in favor of the move.

Hell I live in Maryland and consider this state to be mid-Atlantic. I however live closer to DC. Those that live north of Baltimore would prob consider themselves North Atlantic

I have to find out how to make a meaningful contact to the management now. I think it is time to make this happen. If anyone has leads on how to really get management's attention on this...I'm welcome to suggestions. I am not sure a simple email or such will do it.

Keep the poll going. I have heard from one part of management, but may seek other input. But either way, love to see more of the membership voice/vote on the matter.

I would say just leave it where it is. it's where its been so why change it? is this change absolutely needed? no, its not. I will admit, like frosty said it can be considered both. MD has always been one of those states that could go either way. It is where it is now and I see no reason to change it.
