Haha, sounds good. I have been pretty busy this last week, Haven't been to work either which is where I spend most of my time on here.
yep. Got sprayed in the back with some nice steel shot. Waders and heavy clothes absorb the impact from no more than 50 yards away.
Had ducks all around me on the water. Decided to shoot at a group of 4 landing into my decoys. Guys I ****ing informed of where I would be literally 30 mins ago shoot at the other birds around me when they lifted off. Standing me got peppered...bunch of schmuks giving waterfowlers a black eye. Cant wait to not live in this area....

Ohhhh where to begin? I hunted probably 6 days in the last week and a half. Barely saw anything while we were sitting.
Hunted a blind on the river just above the Holtwood dam. Saw a bunch of Blacks, they were skiddish to come into the decoys. Didn't get a shot at anything.
Hunted just north of there off an island another day, had a goose land in our decoys as we were brushing the boat in. Missed it on the water. Don't ask
Sat there, saw a migration flock of about 30 Gadwall fly over, didn't want anything to do with us. On the way back to the ramp, saw probably 30 Blacks and 20 Mallards.
Hunted another day open water, we got a Bluebill & a ver immature Goldeneye
Hunted another day off a rock near Wrightsville in the duck water boat, saw some stuff, nothing came in.
Took a drive through Long Level the other day, saw a crap load of Greenheads and Buffles. Caught a GORGEOUS drake Bluebill just off shore. It was literally perfect. I would have swam to get it myself.

All my buddies are in NC right now shooting Redheads, Wigeons, Buffles... Sigh

Wow... That looks great. Burlap does the trick there!
Welcome, Joe. Nice XJ. White is one of my favorite colors.
That is insane. I would have shot back. Luckily things are pretty spread out where he hunt on the river, so we don't have to worry about that -usually-.
