Just recently got a 97 jeep GC. Had a 2001 ram pick up but someone hit it and ran... I always wanted a Jeep so I guess it was a blessing in disguise even though I still love and miss my old girl lol. Well Anyone else from Dirty Jerz?

I have a 6cyl. I owned my 5.9 dodge for 8 years so I needed something with better gas mileage lol. Figured the 6 was the way to go. Plus I heard these motor's are almost indestructible.. It's in pretty good shape inside and out.. Just had a slight problem with it but it's being looked into. What do you have?

 

I got a 98 Xj Sport! got the 4.0 in it! 150k miles!! Shes Stock!! Thing runs reaaally strong . Its my first Jeep. I just need an exhaust and o2 sensors. I got a few months before shes gotta be inspected so im not worried!!

 

Actually have to replace the upstream o2 sensor in mine. Was making the truck buck and backfire though the intake.. Disconnected it and it works a lot better. Just gotta pick up the sensor tomorrow now.

 

Yeah mine has no effect driving and etc.. just the damn check engine light. but i looked under the jeep and one of the wires coming fromt he sensor is cut.. probl why its reading a bad o2..
