It's REALLY tight under there, you can barely fit an amp under (I wouldn't reccommend doing that though at least not the sub amp due to cooling issues, a 4 channel running door/sound bar speakers shouldn't be an issue though) you MIGHT be able to make some type of sealed 8" enclosure that would fit. May have to go into the seat bottoms a little bit.
gotcha, ya i didn't think there is enough room...i was just tossing the idea around cause i plan on chopping the top on mine whenever i get ahold of a 97+ hatch
