Wow, so apparently I've missed a lot in the months I was absent from this thread. Glad to see someone was finally set straight though. Anyways, on to new topics: Green, I run Maxxis Big Horn M/T's 33x12.50x16 on my XJ and ProComp Xtreme M/T's 33x11.50x16 on my JK. Both get driven regularly, the XJ is my DD and the JK is the wife's. I love both sets, but M/t's do start to suck the more moisture that's on the road, so keep that in mind. I had A/t's on my XJ before the M/t's and I probably like the M/t's better, but I like the road noise. Just my .02

Had to run the power around the engine bay to the drivers side. With the passenger airbag the dash is too crowded behind there and it just looked like it'd be a pita to go through that side of the firewall.

Here's the head unit I went with JVC KD-S88BT. I picked it up at Walmart for around $130. It has Bluetooth audio streaming and hands free calling, even comes with a mic you can mount in several locations, I chose the top of the steering column

Power and RCA's come out from the trim under the back seat. I ran the RCA's for the 4 channel amp that's in my XJ's future, taped off the ends and coiled em up out of the way.

Right now I have the amp and cap mounted to the back of the speaker box so I can quickly disconnect everything and remove the box and amp when I need to. I have plans for a sweet *** dual amp and cap enclosure that I plan on doing a full write up on when I build it.

They are, that's why I have it set up the way I do right now so if I know I'm going to a sketchy area I can take the amp/sub/cap with only disconnecting a few wires. When I install the 2nd amp and build the new enclosure I'm going to mount everything with security star bolts right to the floorpan.

nice nice. do you think its possible to make a sub box to fit under the rear seat? like a stealth box? not sure if there is enough room...or put amps in the backrest of the back seat? that might be cool but uncomfortable for the people in the back lol

Did you run power and RCA's down the same side?

It's REALLY tight under there, you can barely fit an amp under (I wouldn't reccommend doing that though at least not the sub amp due to cooling issues, a 4 channel running door/sound bar speakers shouldn't be an issue though) you MIGHT be able to make some type of sealed 8" enclosure that would fit. May have to go into the seat bottoms a little bit.
