Done yet I'm interested to see how it turns out? By the way great find on that 600 bucks I wish I could find a deal like that
not yet. Still doing a bunch of prep work.
hoping to start rolling on the main color coats tomorrow.
i didn’t even find the deal, it found me. I got a text from a friend asking if I wanted it for $600. Saw the pictures, and told him I’d pick it up asap.
also, when this whole craziness is over, i’ll have to have a cookout with all the OGs and some new people if they want to come. Be good to start meeting up again soon.
2 coats of purple and black.
still need to put the hood vents, bumper and a few little things back on. Wednesday will have wheels and tires on it.
it’s getting the same pro comp steelies my blue Jeep has and a set of 33” STT pros.
ordered new exhaust for it today as well. It has a new manifold and front pipe already, now it’ll get a magnaflow cat, super 44, and 2.5” tailpipe. Going to be a whole new Jeep.
How did you do your badging in black?
Guessing a brush and black bed liner?
Very carefully? LOL.
Might end up doing mine in black someday on my '00.
Thing is I like how the brushed metal, they are not chrome, of my badging offsets the black Jeep.
In a perfect world would remove the badging, bed line the Jeep, and replace with all new badging.
Don't feel like trying to mask it off or get the letters, in the word Cherokee for instance, straight if I try to reuse them.
And all new badging would be pricey so....
So now I am wondering about doing them in a silver bed liner now.
Would work for me as long as it is not more chrome looking

basically. My Fiance’s father actually did it. It’s spray paint, he sprayed into a cup, and used a q-tip. It’s not perfect, but it looks good. Better than I could have done. Waiting on paint to dry now, it’s been in the garage for past couple days.
bumper just needs a coat or two spray paint, then will be put back on.
Sorry not sorry for spamming the purple XJ.
front bumper was put back on today, along with getting the headlights, CB, and aux lights rewired. One of the PO had a screw style battery in there before and these stupid clamps for everything. I put eyelets on and put them on the fusebox. also wired the light bar in.
Apparently now I'm going to this. with this guy.
Anyone else going?
Blue Jeep is getting ready for it. rear bumper is being finished up. 2x6 sliders being installed now.
Just gotta put some new rear bumpstops on it should be good to go.
Drivers window on my recently acquired 94 F150 wouldn't come up tonight when I parked it. Guess I get to tear that apart tomorrow. Also probably swap clusters since i'll have my tools out.
