If you're gonna do it, do it right. You need projector housings; not just HID bulbs. Also expect to replace your ballast about once per year if you offroad, because they don't like vibration.
It's much simpler and very common to convert to non-sealed beam H4 headlights and a harness such as the one offered by Putco

I agree with Tim. Personally i'm not a fan pf HIDs. Especially when they're put into regular housings. You need projectors with them, and cheapo projectors tend to not work too well. Thats just my .02 though.

MD_XJ_MD and myself have both run HIDs in our Cherokees. We both had issues with them not working properly for long and the passenger one would constantly shut off. If you want them for the color and light output got with TrukLite LEDs.

Thats why im getting TLs i the near future. Ballasts are very picky especially if they are cheap ebay ones. And at that price id doubt thats its real projector housings. Scambay likes to advertise those as real projector housings

thanks for the feed back on the hid lights, my parents actually bought them from me so I'm going to try them out but just wanted to see what to expect. If they end up not working probably going with the h4 conversion
