Nate, I'm not calling anyone stupid. It has nothing to do with what you like or how it looks; I'm talking about numbers.

Everyone gets in the game thinking they need a big lift, and I want him to at least know what he's doing before he spends that much money.

thats kind of why I chose 5.5" lift versus a 6.5 I want to be able to easily fit 35s eventually, plus I want the jeep to sit up, but not too too high. maybe a 4.5" would've been a little more ideal, but I think the 5.5" will do. if it really comes down to it, I can always exchange the springs for lower ones.

Alright I'll take a looksy. Thx mang.

Tim I know you mean well bud, you know I love you. Your delivery can come off as a little derrogatory, that's all. I'm just playing devils advocate lol.

I'm just a matter of fact person. I like LCOG, and I know not everyone does. That's why I initially asked why he wants a lift that high. "I want to run blacks" isn't a valid reason to me cause it can be done with less lift and less money. If he said "I want a tall XJ," I would've been fine with that.

I just want people to know what they're doing before planning a build and spending thousands of dollars.

My last built XJ was on 35's and 7" of lift.....I daily drove it.

This one will be 33's and 4.5"....

Most reason for the change? I want to keep the challenge in it.

6.5 on 35s is common enough. I see no problem.

Also picked up a JCR front bumper off craigslist.
