If someone flips a jeep with a 6.5 inch lift and not a 4.5 inch lift, there is a bigger problem than what size lift they are running. Just sayin.

Slim, you think you need 6.5" to flex, but the goal is to maintain traction so you can put down power. It doesn't matter if you have up- or down-travel as long as your wheels are on the ground.
The purpose of lifting is to fit the tire you want to run, but from a technical standpoint, you shouldn't lift until you have no fender left to cut. Lift raises your center of gravity and makes you less stable.
The difference is if you lift high for uptravel, you're always off camber.

No one here is building for a competition lol. He may know what hes doing for his purposes. But running a 3inch lift and trimming half your fender off to run a 37inch tire is just as stupid for any of us as is running a 6.5inch lift according to you. So whats your overall point here lol.
