that sucks. another reason for me to lift the blue XJ instead. my mileage with the white XJ would suck....

yeah yeah. i dunno how many miles mine has. odometer reads something like 136k but i'm pretty sure it's been thru a chop shop or something shady from a ghetto dealer so who knows. came w/ tags, inspected (it shouldn't have passed) and all that which was the main selling point...and it went vroom when i hit the skinny pedal. it is what it is.

my 91 buick regal (similar background) been running strong for 18 months and gets 30 mpg of blissful sitting in a recliner down the freeway w/ the cruise on awesomeness.

when i get a better job i'll probably get like a 98 buick lesabre from some ghetto dealer, with tags.

Only if we all could get better jobs. We alone could boost the economy.

Got 22.4 on my trip to Ohio ....odometer reads 222k but the gauges didn't work when I first got it...so who knows.

I would almost think it was not the original engine it runs so well...but have no evidence to say it's not

only reason i own either is the reputation the drivetrains have. 3.8 and 4.0 supposedly good engines. neither let me down yet and my insurance company can suck it cuz i'm not paying their premiums to drive a nice car in a city no mo. waiting till i live somewhere rural or southern to get a "nice" car again.

yeah, the 3.8 is a great engine. the only problems those cars have is sometimes the trans likes to be stupid. but it's not horrible. that's what happened to my bros car. I wish I would've bought it off him, and got the trans fixed.
