That's because haynes is a POS - i only keep it in the truck for emergency situations / quick reference

Looks like a good excuse to run your CB coax properly if you haven't rerouted it yet lol

Lift people, standby for a maps.google update and directions for Wednesday. I didn't see any food/drink replies. How's Coke and water with Papa John's pizza for lunch? On me, of course.

Google Maps won't let me do directions on Ft Detrick, so I'll write it.
The visitor's gate is at the intersection of "Old Farm Dr & Yellow Springs Rd". If you copy that (without the quotes) into the destination box on Google Maps, it'll take you from your place to the gate.
As you go through the gate, the road will curve to the right. Follow it straight until it dead-ends, and make a left. Follow this road straight until you see a gas station on your left. At the intersection/light by the gas station, make a left. Follow this road until it dead ends, and make a left. The small parking lot immediately to your left will be the auto shop.

Please don't bring weapons on base, because they will ask you to open your doors and possibly your glove box/center console so they can check your vehicle.

If someone who spends more time on Detrick can verify my on-post directions, I'd appreciate it. Dukie, I'll pick some up.

That sounds like good directions to me, could also make a left at the first stop sign on Daughten Dr, Go past Youth Center on the left\Pool on your right and go straight across Ditto Ave. to the parking lot of the auto shop. It's pretty easy to find, lots of garage doors and car wash also in the parking lot.
And tip for anyone without a military ID, stop at gas station before going on post, can't use AAFES without military ID.

Edit: Simple Map

I did. Jakbob was gonna come and then had some issues. I went at it hard this morning. Then my wife had to go grocery shopping and when she finally got back I got back to it. Needless to say I'm stuck. Got 6 little bolts in the firewall stopping me from the last step. I will pick up again tomorrow. However I did learn it will drive the way it looks in those pics. I had to move it for trash day. City rules.

How many people are actually showing up on Wed? I saw that Justin was coming by in the afternoon but I haven't actually seen any permanent numbers and what time people are showing up.

Neither have I lol. Doc is gonna come out if he has the day off work. If he comes, he's bringing (I think) two people. Dukie is taking a half-day at work, and Classic is gonna come by if he has time after work. Pudgy is planning to come out, but I don't know what time he expects to be there. Mike is working like a dog lately. Anyone I'm missing?
I'm gonna be waiting there for the shop to open at 9 so I can secure a lift, just in case they get busy.
