I need to be at BWI at noon on Monday the 30th for my flight. Would anyone be able to drive me there from Frederick if I pay for gas?

The XJ overheated today, luckily I was close to home. I stopped for gas and saw smoke coming from under the hood. I checked gauges and all was okay. Temp was at 210 and oil was at 40. After gassing her up, went to start and temp was at 260. I allowed her to cool down and checked the overflow,it was filled to the top and had this brown pudding like stuff floating on top. My guess is that I need to flush and fill the radiator along with the overflow to get out all foreign particles. Is there something else that needs to be done, because I've never seen the choco pudding stuff before?
Let me rewind......picked up XJ last Wednesday. Had oil change done on Thursday and the shroud was missing from the fan. There is a hose that runs from radiator to overflow and it was not secured properly and cut the hose. There was brown rusty stuff that had sprayed all over the place. The piece of tubing that I needed had to be ordered and I bought this plastic piece that joined both ends together until I could get the tubing. There was no leakage coming from the tube, but you could tell that the overflow bottle had ran over a tad bit.

Mava, definitely sounds like a flush and new antifreeze is in order. Also you really should have a fan shroud. It directs the air to where it is most effective. Also you need to see if your aux fan is kicking on at 220*.
