That is a tough one. R-12 could run 30-50 bucks per 12oz can. Replace it all and go r-134 is what I would advise my customers. But most of my customers have the money! Get the condenser and hoses installed. Find 2 or 3 cans ofR12 and I'll help with the rest.
Adding. Get a receiver/ drier too. We will have to flush it a little but I will supply that and you pay me for the materials.

Well, he still has it...completely rust free. No issues, pay and drive.
Now to see if I can come up with the duckage...

my theory on that is;
your transmission is running hot due to an air bubble in the trans cooler.
when your tranny runs hot, your radiator doesnt cool as well. mainly because it is a combo rad. part trans cooler, part rad. or your radiator is clogged, wether it be internally, or there is something wrong with the foils (either bent or clogged with debris).

as for the foils i was thinking of using the hose to spray from the inside out.. to see if anything is in it. or should i wait till dark and shine a light threw them?
When i had the motor out i done my best at flushing the rad out...

Check ALL hose connections. Coolant will also rise in temperature when the proper pressure is not applied. Sometimes you can have a pressure leak without actually having a coolant leak.
Did you replace the waterpump with the rebuild?
When the engine originally went, was overheating a part of the problem, ie..did it overheat with it's dying?

it grabs the stud threads/shaft. You can find them at home depot or any hardware store. Made by Irwin.

I have an SPL meter too but I've only tuned a home system like that.

love being a homeowner. I get to do this in the very near future..

I have a drainage runoff running through the middle of the yard, gonna fill it in and level it off. Gonna either use gravel or recycled concrete.
