it also depends on how soon you want to go. If there's something you want to do that's not available right now, you can do delayed enlistment. Essentially you sign up, but don't leave for Basic until that job comes open. Could be a few days up to several months. I was on delayed enlistment for 11 months, but 5 of them were in high school

The censor on the site is too hardcore....I went to post a picture that had the letters D-I-C-K in the link....and the pic wouldn't post because the letters were replaced by ****. Is was inside a bigger word. That is, the D-I-C-K was inside a big one.
