yea we did it on Tim's old XJ. At the inside of the front spring mount there is a pocket the welded nut sits in (not inside the frame rail). You need to use a grinder to cut out the bottom of the pocket, so you can jam a crescent wrench up there and onto the nut. Tim might have a photo of his afterwards...

not very much - you need to leave the sides of the pocket though

yea we did it on Tim's old XJ. At the inside of the front spring mount there is a pocket the welded nut sits in (not inside the frame rail). You need to use a grinder to cut out the bottom of the pocket, so you can jam a crescent wrench up there and onto the nut. Tim might have a photo of his afterwards...

oh and I have 8 leaf spring bolts in good condition - just threw them in my truck.

got the TJ flares on the rear only today - putting flares on the rear of an XJ sucks *****. They look decent...not totally happy with how the rears look (mostly at the break point) but I don't plan to have them on the jeep too long.
Front should be cake though. Will try to tackle that tomorrow after work.
