well the goodyear wranglers which are 235s is slightly bigger than the stock tires that were on it. therefore the the odometer is saying less miles than there actually is. according to the fancy table he posted I'm actually getting about 16-17 mpg. I just went 300 miles (according to odometer) with 20 gallons. once I get 33s I'm getting the speedo gear so I don't have to do all this math.

I havent come up with a concrete figure yet, but I am thinking in the neighborhood of 3-4 bills for everything welded and ground and ready for paint. That being said if the person helps I would knock it down considerably. At the least I am thinking $100 for the templates or same value in desirable trade. I am hoping to turn the rear bumpers out quick with a tire swing once I finish getting mine built and put it through testing. I will post it up in my sig when I get everything figured out

circumference = 3.14(diameter)
3.14(28.29) = 88.8306 inches per revolution
235/75r15 = 176.25mm sidewall x 2 = 352.5mm which is 13.88 inches + 15 inch rim = diameter of 28.88 inches.
3.14(28.88) = 90.6832
new distance/old distance = percent increase
90.6832/88.8306 = 102.08554259455638034641215977377 percent.
your odometer is 2% off. so 300 miles = 306 miles.

I have never filled over 18 gallons. I ran it dry once and only filled 17.9 gallons into it. but as far as what I'm getting now, I forgot i put 2 gallons into it last night, so I would've used 20 gallons anyway.....darn....still at 15 mpg, lol.

also need to consider drag difference and weight i.e. bumpers, tools, roof racks, spares, jack, winches, sliders... when comparing vehicles or setting someone elses MPG as a goal for you

fill up till the pump clicks off. next time, fill up till the pump clicks off. note how many gallons. if you add in between, it skews your numbers because you dont know how much is actually left in the tank. a half gallon can go another 8 miles depending on your mpg.
sorry... i cant let my skills shine?
