yes but you dont even know the correct value. it is still an assumption.

assumption < actual data

without actual data, it is just an opinion because of the human factor.

and dont forget at the same time, he made atleast 3 changes to the intake. bored throttle body, throttle body spacer, and the cone intake. so you cant just say that the cone intake is responsible for any improvements.

It is not an assumption. It is a proven theory using the scientific method, you do not need the correct value.

but when talking about a specific upgrade yes. you cant say a "cold air intake" improved your mpg when actually you upgraded multiple things.

and yes it is an assumption. you cant just leave variables out and say its correct.

the scientific method is good to see if there is a change, but you cant quantify any change with it. because you dont know all the values that have changed.

So whether the numbers are right or wrong doesn't matter; the ratio still shows improvement.

I use this to calculate for MPG. I made it editable by yall, feel free to use it. Its just something I found on the web.
and now that I'm thinking about it, and this....I might actually be getting about 17 mpg because the wranglers are a little bigger than the stock tires.

Have you synchronized your watch with GMT? How can you be sure 1800? There are other variables and this may be an assumption.

It also looks like rain here....
