I could help you tomorrow or Thursday...but I still feel too leashed to my couch right now (not to mention the restroom...lol)
That's the plan right now. I'd still like a second pair of eyes, though, if anyone can spare them. Hope you feel better soon.

Who cares what he does for a living. I work on jets all day so you would think I would be sick of wiring and wrench turning but when you're doing it on something you love, like a jeep, it's totally different and there's a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when it's done. Boyfriends come and go but a good jeep can be forever.

Pudgy, did you look at my wiring theory from a couple pages back, if not I'll PM it to you to have a look see.

Will this work for what you're talking about?
Probably but not well. Unfortunately saying its a 600w amp is misleading. If all it can output is 100w per channel max then it is weak. I would guess that for $80. It would be adequate to run the speakers but probably not a sub. Save up and do it right or do it quick and spend more money in the long run. My amps cost me $1000 and that was in 1997. But they are still powering my system today. Same thing in my Lexus.

so is anyone else going to the quarry this saturday?

also, anyone else's jeep surging? It happens about a minute after starting it and moving. If i'm not moving it just idles rough and every now and then revs up and then drops back down. If I floor it, it goes away, and it will go away after a little bit.

Also my jeep used to do competions back in the day. I hit 144db with one 18" sub and about 600w of continuous power. I don't listen to it that loud obviously. But having the power means more efficient. My headlights don't dim. I too listen to mostly heavy metal and my system is set up for that now. I think my jeep setup is in my build thread. 18" sub two Rockford amps and mb quart's up front. Stock speakers in the rear.

It does. I want to paint my emblem black. I'm also thinking of bed lining my hood.

remove and clean your IAC valve/motor on the side of the throttle body
