well.. just thought i would chime in here. still in the county, prepping the xj for the Spring Fling. 8.8 going in on saturday and other mods to follow before the event. pumped to get out and make a trip down.

 

Cool. I think this will be a big event. Can't wait. I've got a lot to fix on mine before then. I hope to get some done this weekend.

 

I have alot of things i want to mod on mine, but time is very limited for me. So in the long run im hoping at least half of what i want will be done. roof rack will most likely not be made or throttle body on, you win some you lose some, but the tank skid plate, 8.8 swap, spectre snorkle, 3.73's, and slight other things should be done.
I have been wanting to go to an event like this for while, just never had the time to drive 4 1/2 hours to one.

 

Anyone here close to Gorham NH?? Im 15 mins from Bethel ME if that helps u location wise.

I was very happy how my Jeep did with Mikes tires on it. He let me use his 33 MTZ and it went anywhere we pointed it, except the last climb near Masshole. Here's a 1/2 hour movie of the day:

You'd have a great time. We've got a members meeting and ride Sat/Sun May 12th/13th at Allwheels in Lewiston. Some are camping out, some, like myself will just be going for the day on Saturday. There are quite a few coming up from southern Maine.
