zr2toxj I thought your wheels looked deifferent! I knew you didn't have black wheels. Great day it was, lot of good people. My brother had a great time too! That video was real good, those gopro cameras rock!

Oh sure, in fact there were a lot of stock rigs there. There are enough trails with bypasses or less of a challenge, so you'd be fine. Only thing is to make sure you have F&R tow points, so if you need a tug, there is a solid spot to do so.

Here's a map of the 400 acre park and there's been trails added since then:

I'm guessing colors indicate skill level? And to go there you have to be part of a club like ME4x4.org

I don't think the colors have any significance. The Big Daddy and the upper back side can be done with a stock rig, may need some help here and there. Maine street all the way to beaver dam loop is doable.

No, it's open to everyone anytime, except he closes it during hunting season. We just spent time helping him clear trails and usually do a clean up each year.

Your jeep will do fine! Minbe also has a 3" but with 30s and I did fine. Got caught up on some stumps but that was more because of my lack of skill level, it was my first time. So getting used to were my diffs were was my only draw back. Not to mention there are people always willing to get out and spot you if you are questioning your skill level. I had almost constant spotting from a couple of my buddies, dad and my brother who was right behind me in his Jeep. I plan on doing some diff covers and probably sliders and maybe discos too, just for some better articulation and to protect my jeep a bit better.

Great! I'm a mod over there so I'll look for you. Same screen name over there?

Discos would be the first thing I'd do if mine was stock. It makes a huge difference if you let it flex. 31's will be fine. Skids, armor would be next on the list. Then lockers if you have the coin.

But like Brew said, there are always plenty of people willing to help you out. Spotting, giving you pointers, etc is what we try to do.

Checking out other rigs to see what they've done is always exciting to me. We're probably going to do a offroad clinic soon, which is always good to go to.

Anytime you want to go, let me know. I'm only 15 mins from there. I'm usually around on Sats. They are 2-3-4 other members right in the areas that would jump on a ride there, too.
