Is there a club anywhere around the Wilkes Barre? And if there is, why aren't they represented at public car shows? It seems that would be a perfect place to spread the good word of offroading responsibly.

I'm from Wilkes Barre too. There is a club...think the name is Twisted Off-road.

Im trying to start my own in the area... NEPA XJ OFFROAD CLUB. But I don't know how to start it off...any help??

 

Just do it, get some vinyls made up (pm me if interested) and get a few guys to start it up then go from there. Thats what I did.

 

Try www.bmja.org . When I was part of this Jeep only club it was the largest in the USA.

Remember Paragon? The owner and his wife were part of BMJA.

Any club cannot be everywhere. The all Jeep show at York, I am positive they will be there.

 

I'm from Hazleton area and would like to get a club going too. It would be cool to have a group to wheel with. I'd stay away from BMJA. They put a bad taste in my mouth a couple years ago at a Jeep Jamboree USA. There is probably a couple of cool people in the club, but most of them that I met were stuck up.

 

Check out the North Atlantic Chapter of NAXJA... we just had one of our annual events at Rausch Creek a few weeks ago.. next will be Rocktoberfest.

NAXJA is a great club lots of members from everywhere, Freindly too. Been a member for a few years
