May I suggest tuning it yourself? It's actually very easy to do. And if the farther channels don't come in good you know it's done right to the best it can do.
Here's where I got mine: http://www.rightchannelradios.com/cb...cable-417.html
Read through and you will see how easy it is, I actually tune everyone else's radio and trust me, i'm no pro. Hope that helps

It's been a while since I've been in that direction, but there was a shop over in Wyoming just off the corner of 8th street and Wyoming Avenue. Kelly's auto parts is across the street. If I remember correctly there was a hair salon in the same building & it was on the corner of Wyoming Ave and directly across from that is the Uni-mart sub station. For you, if you cruise all the way up River street, towards Pittston, turn right onto the 8th street bridge follow that till you hit Wyoming ave. cross over it and look to your left. Brick building, parking on the side. He seemed to be a decent shop when I stopped in but again that was a few years back. Can't recall what the name of the shop was tho. Good luck.

What do ya need help with ? Also you can get a nice swr meter at radio shack. As stated above it's not hard to check swr on your antenna to get the correct swr. Even the cheapy swr meters sold at truck stops are decent for checking swr.

Im a total newb when it comes to cbs...i tuned it today and got a swr of 1.5 on channel 1,19 and 40...But Im not getting any chatter on any channel at all. On the other hand I am getting my local weather channel in loud and clear. Is it normal not to hear any chatter on any of the 40 channels
