Earlier afternoon Sunday is good by me, have to be to work around 4:30. Might even have a little work done on the heep by then lol.

Anyway, does anyone else know of a purple and lightening bolt funky painted XJ driving around CT? It has a couple ladders on top too....reason I bring it up is I saw it on RT8 today down in Stratford, and it literally just drove by my house in Hamden...weird.

Hopefully it won't be too bad, but I'll be hangin out it glenwood probably around 12-1 with a couple other guys. So if anyone else decides to show up just look for the lifted green XJ.

 

Just joined this forum and late to the thread. I'm Britt from Litchfield, I just bought a 98 Cherokee. I've got a little saving to do, but I to put a lift and larger tires on it by the end of the summer. It's an okay jeep, just doesn't like starting half the time.

 

I got tied up early on, okay it was Call of Duty so sue me, and had to get to work for 5 so sorry if I missed anyone. Sounds like the weather put a damper on things though.

Too many things to fix before mine touches even a dirt road, but I'm down for the next meet 'n greet

 

It's all good man, weather did suck anyway and that doesn't make it much fun to stand outside and check out eachothers Jeeps. No one else showed up. But there will always be more meet n greets. I'm really trying to get a group going down here in the 203.

 

Nobody, ouch. We could probably get a good meet up planned with more advance, I know winging it's tough with my schedule so I'm sure others are like that too.

Hitting the pick and pull JY on Foxon tomorrow if anyone wants to meet up haha.

Ended up sleeping all day haha, damn night shifts, so I didn't make the JY. I'm off this weekend though and might be able to sneak off for a JY trip or meet up if folks are interested.

 

So a few of us got some plans made for Saturday, at the on-track karting parking lot in Wallingford. probably gonna be there around 11.

 

where are the junkyards in CT? i've always lived in MA and i just moved right over the border in west suffield this year.

 

I'm in New Haven area and there's a couple down here. I go to the big one on Route 80 off I91 exit 8. Chuck and Eddies I think it is.

 

Closest one to you i know of is levielles in somers on Egypt rd. If you go/call there ask for mike, he used to have an XJ (its now their lot vehicle) so he usually hooks guys up on smaller stuff for jeeps.

theres also marks auto parts in granby on rt 20, and chuck and eddies in southington which is the only u-pull-it yard i know of
